As a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect at Microsoft, I have always believed in the transformative power of technology and the immense potential of our youth. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to bring these two passions together through a collaboration with ALSA, a forward-thinking voluntary organisation dedicated to empowering the next generation. Our event, AI Horizons, was a significant step in bridging the gap between young minds and the world of artificial intelligence, while also equipping them with invaluable skills that will bolster their careers.
At the core of this initiative was a month long training session where I had the pleasure of guiding five brilliant students and young professionals on how to use AI tools effectively. Roni Dragusha (Finance), Benisa Krasniqi (Law), Denisa Laksu (Marketing), Damian Wong (History), Qamil Pajaziti (Medicine). The goal was not just to teach them about AI but to empower them to take this knowledge and share it with others. What followed was nothing short of inspiring.
After the training, these young individuals stepped up to present their newly acquired skills to an audience of students and professionals, showcasing how AI can be leveraged across various fields. Watching them take the stage, confidently sharing their insights and practical applications, was a testament to their growth. They were not just presenting AI tools; they were embodying the essence of what it means to be leaders in their own right.
